We are very pleased and proud to introduce Eliza Fu Xue Schurter. These beautiful photos were taken when she was four months old. She is now about 7 1/2 months. Her birthday is June 16, 2006. Her orphanage is in the municipality of Chongqing, located just east of the Sichuan province of China. We plan to travel to her in 5 to 8 weeks. WaHoo!
Note her classy socks.

Love those socks! And her cute smile! We're excited and so glad for you both (and us!). This is a great way for us to get acquainted with Eliza.
Love you all,
Grandma and Grandpa Schurter
Woo Hoo!! Sounds like this is it. It seems like one of the longest pregnancies on record--but with pretty awesome results.
Erin is China as I write and enjoying it immensely, I believe. She will be in Hong Kong until Tues. or Wed.
I'm sure the time is dragging for you since the anticipation is high--but it will go fast.
Congratulations. We'll keep checking the site for updates.
My knowledge of blogging is zilch, so I just signed in anonymously.
Thinking of you and your child-to-be.

Match Day! Woo hoo! Eliza is BEAUTIFUL! We are very excited! How do you pronounce the rest of her middle name? Does it mean something?

What a doll. That long wait will certainly be worth it. Good luck on the trip to meet her face to face.
Oh my gosh! She is so cute. Seriously. How crazy is it that she has UT socks? Pat will be impressed. We'll want to know how soon we can come see her. You know, because it takes a baby from China for us to come visit...nice. The room is great, too. I couldn't help but notice how many clothes are already in her closet. Pretty funny. I am so very excited for you both and her. Sarah Abernathey
I am sitting at my desk and crying like a fool. I am endlessly happy for you guys and can't wait to meet her!! I am going to be in the Denver area in June, can I see her then?!?!?!
We love you three very much and look forward to the updates.

Cute baby. How exciting to get your family started. Looks like she may like the Longhorns more than the Aggies at this point. Very smart for her age ;). Congrats,
Joe and Tara
Congratulations! Eliza is cute! I wish you the best of luck on your trip!

Congratulations! That's such exciting news! Just now heard via an email from my parents. Nine months is a great age - she'll be moving around and babbling a lot. She's just a month younger than Samuel.
Looking forward to seeing your trip report.
